Verified dataset
Which routes have no train?
We checked 89 popular Turkish intercity routes across five ways to travel — train, plane, bus, car and ferry — using timetables and operator sites, not guesses. 74 of those routes have no direct train at all. Here is the full route-by-route table, with sources and check dates, free to reuse.
How we checked
A verdict is a source, not an impression.
Every "no" is checked against the operator's own published network — TCDD's national and high-speed timetables for rail, airline and DHMI route pages for flights, ferry operators for coastal links — read on the date shown, with a route re-checked once that date passes. Every "yes" for bus and car carries the same route-verification standard as the rest of this site. We publish only what we can point a source at.
The headline
Mode by mode, across all 89 routes.
Bus and car exist on every route, as expected — the gap is in rail and, on non-coastal routes, ferry.
