Affiliate disclosure

An affiliate link sends you to a booking partner — a tour marketplace, a ticket seller, a transport or car-hire site, an insurer or an eSIM provider. If you book there, the partner may pay Turquosian a commission. Every such link is labelled where it appears and passes through our own /go/ address so that the click can be counted; no personal data travels with it.

• The price you pay the partner is the partner's price. A commission is paid by the partner out of its own margin; it is not added to your booking.
• Booking direct can be cheaper. Marketplaces resell operators' seats and tickets, sometimes at a mark-up. Where an official seller exists — a museum's own ticketing site, an airline, a ferry operator — we link it beside the partner so you can compare.
• Prices shown next to a partner link are the partner's prices on the date printed beside them, in the partner's currency, and they change. We never print a price a partner did not show us on that date.

• Ranking. Whether a place is “essential”, “worth your time” or a record is an editorial decision. No partner can buy a place onto a list or up a list, and a place with a booking link is not ranked above one without.
• Warnings. Closures, cancellations, safety notes and the honest line about resold tickets stay on the page whether or not a partner sells the product.
• One partner per need. We choose one partner for tours, one for tickets, one for transport, and say why. We do not run comparison tables of affiliates, pop-ups, exit prompts, countdowns or “only two left”.

As of 4 September 2026 no affiliate links are live on the site. When the first partners are added, this page will list them by name, with the category each one covers and the partner programme it belongs to.
